Kubica: His last operation was a success

The Polish driver Robert Kubica, seriously injured during the winter, was scheduled to undergo a final elbow surgery before resuming his rehabilitation.

A few hours after the Belgian Grand Prix, the Lotus-Renault GP team communicated reassuring news about their driver Robert Kubica.

Today, the Polish person was supposed to undergo a final elbow surgery aimed at restoring full mobility to his right arm.

The surgeons are delighted to announce that the procedure went ideally, without complications.

Upon waking up, Robert was completely calm and even asked for the results of Sunday’s race.

He still needs to stay a few more days in the hospital before resuming his rehabilitation process.
