Saturday: Both LRGP drivers in Q3 again
The new duo of Lotus Renault Grand Prix once again shone in qualifying. Vitaly Petrov and Bruno Senna successfully made it to Q3. The Russian ranks 7th while the Brazilian, in his second Grand Prix with the black and gold team, ranks 10th. These results confirm Enstone team's return to the forefront.

Vitaly Petrov – 12th and 7th
« It is a real joy for me to qualify in 7th position! Moreover, we had to face some aerodynamic problems this morning. I must admit that the team prepared a very good car for the qualifications, and the settings were wise. We are very happy to have reached the top 10, and I am optimistic for tomorrow’s race! ».
Bruno Senna – 11th and 10th
For my second consecutive qualifying session of the season, I am very happy to reach the top 10 once again. Getting into Q3 was really a close call… In Q1 and Q2, I struggled to find the right settings regarding braking. Vitaly served as a reference for me, and I managed to complete a respectable final lap in Q2. I deliberately chose not to run in Q3 as it allowed me to save two sets of tires. Hopefully, this decision will be useful for tomorrow, and I will manage to score my first points. Finally, I wanted to thank the entire team for the fantastic car they provided me with these two days.
Alan Permane – Chief Race Engineer
« It was a good session for us today and we are pleased to place both cars in Q3 once again. Throughout the weekend, we have become increasingly confident seeing that our package had the desired effect. We were able to see in Monza that our top speed was respectable and that our pace and times were good. We can thus say that we are on the right track. The whole team is very confident for the race and the points! ».
