Free practice delayed in Singapore!
Scheduled for 12:00, the start of the first practice session of the Singapore Grand Prix will be delayed to 12:30 to address an issue with one of the circuit's urban curb.

Even before the session begins, problems are already arising here in Singapore. The first session is delayed by half an hour due to a fault on one of the curbs at the exit of turn 14: nails are protruding from it, leading to a significant risk of puncture for the competitors. Dispatched to the scene, Charlie Whiting has come to assess the extent of the damage in order to take measures to address it.
The regulation stipulates a two-hour gap between each session on the same day, so the second free practice session will also be delayed and will start at 4 PM French time. The summaries of these two sessions will of course be available on Motorsinside.com throughout the afternoon.
Update: the first free practice session is finally reduced to one hour and will therefore end at 1:30 PM, allowing the second practice session to start at the scheduled time, that is 3:30 PM, French time.
