Daniel Ricciardo is eager to discover Suzuka

Daniel Ricciardo will make his grand debut on the famous Suzuka circuit during the first free practice session on Friday. The Australian driver – who prepared for the race in Red Bull’s simulator – is eagerly looking forward to discovering the Japanese track at the wheel of his Hispania F111.

I’m looking forward to racing at Suzuka for the first time. I’ve heard from many drivers that it’s a beautiful circuit with a lot of history. I’ve spent some time in the simulator and the first sector seems fun with the ‘S’ curves followed by an uphill section, which apparently, is much steeper than what you can see on television. It looks like a real driver’s circuit, which is always nice; it’s a track where you try to get the best out of your car, Daniel Ricciardo shared.

The HRT driver believes he has made progress in every race since his debut at Silverstone and hopes that this good streak can continue in Japan.

“I’m really excited because reality is always better. The weekend in Singapore was positive, the progress is good at every race, and I hope this trend will continue in Japan,” added the young Australian.
