Buemi would like more tires per Grand Prix
Sébastien Buemi thinks that drivers should be able to have more tires per race weekend to avoid seeing some drivers not participate in the qualifying session, for example, to preserve new tires for the race.

During several race weekends, notably at Spa-Francorchamps, the question of whether the teams would have enough tires to finish the race arose. Ultimately, everything went smoothly in Belgium, but it had the merit of sparking a debate on the imposed tire quotas.
Some believe that the tire allocation should not change, such as Ross Brawn, the director of the Mercedes GP team, but the teams, through the GPDA, would like Pirelli to bring fewer tires to avoid the Italian manufacturer having to destroy new tires at the end of each race weekend.
But others would like Pirelli to bring more tires—qualifying tires have been mentioned, but this is ultimately not expected to be implemented—and this is what Sébastien Buemi wants. The Toro Rosso driver believes that it would allow young drivers to run and thus gain experience in a Formula 1 car.
I would like to change the rules on tires – to have more sets per race weekend. We spend millions designing single-seaters and sometimes we are not able to drive them because we need to conserve new tires. I think new and young drivers could benefit from a more generous tire allocation, Sébastien Buemi told the official Formula 1 website.
