Timo Glock ready to tackle the final races
After a difficult night in Singapore, Timo Glock hopes for better days by the end of the 2011 season. The Marussia Virgin Racing driver is ready to do battle on the Japanese circuit of Suzuka this weekend!

The tough job of a Formula 1 driver requires a specific physical preparation to compete in races back to back. The next two weeks will be decisive as the teams will be heading to Japan and South Korea respectively.
According to John Booth, director of Marussia Virgin, his drivers are ready to face these two challenges, 7 days apart: « We are currently in a difficult phase at the end of this season. It’s hard to believe but there are only 5 races left, which will come very quickly. Jérôme had a solid race in Singapore. He will be keen to continue in this dynamic. Timo will try to make up for the disappointment he experienced at Marina Bay », the Briton noted during an interview.
The German driver is indeed eager to show what he can do on the Japanese circuit. And in order to race a week later in Korea, he took advantage of the two weeks’ respite to fine-tune his physical condition: “I returned to Europe to work on and improve my physical preparation, to be ready for the last races. I especially did a lot of cycling in Switzerland!” Glock revealed.
Moreover, his determination is not tarnished: “The next two events will be the toughest and most important for the team. But I have hope that we can have strong races because we are ready,” the young man finally concluded.
