Vettel wants to celebrate his title with a victory

Sebastian Vettel was unable to celebrate his second world championship title with a victory at Suzuka on Sunday. But the Red Bull driver hopes to succeed before the end of the season, during the final four races, and maybe even this weekend in South Korea.

One might think that the years follow one another and are similar, but this is not really the case for Sebastian Vettel – even though he won the title last year and again this year. Indeed, unlike in 2010, Sebastian Vettel clinched the title before the last race of the season this year and intends to savor his title during the last four Grand Prix.

“It’s different from Abu Dhabi 2010. This year, there are four Grand Prix left; in fact, I have almost four long victory laps ahead of me. I can enjoy my title even more,” Sebastian Vettel told Sport Bild.

Vettel could have celebrated his title in style with a victory in Suzuka, but he was denied by Jenson Button driving his McLaren. The Red Bull driver is keen to add another win to his record to brilliantly celebrate his title, and why not this weekend at the South Korean Grand Prix, a race that did not go well for him last year as he had to retire while leading the race due to an engine issue.

“We did not succeed (in winning) in Japan, so we will try to do it in the next race,” added the double German world champion.
