Red Bull extends its partnership with Infiniti
Partners for seven months already, Red Bull Racing and Infiniti have decided to extend their partnership for several years. The luxury car manufacturer, Infiniti, has greatly benefited from the victories and global exposure of the Red Bull team to increase its brand awareness. But from now on, the partnership is expected to go even further, with the establishment of a technical collaboration starting in 2012.

Infiniti, which is the luxury brand of the Renault-Nissan group, made a smart move at the start of the season by signing with Red Bull, as the company’s logo is displayed on the helmets, suits, and cars of Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber. And both men have received significant media exposure thanks to their strong performances this season – particularly with the drivers’ championship for Vettel and the constructors’ championship for Red Bull.
This has allowed Infiniti to become known worldwide, and the brand is looking forward to continuing this partnership for many more years, as Andy Palmer, the Executive Vice President of Nissan Motor Company, stated.
When we announced this partnership last March, our sole objective was to increase global awareness of the Infiniti brand. In just seven months, the results have exceeded all our expectations, even the most ambitious ones, making us the most exposed automotive brand in Formula One this season. As we approach the second year of our partnership with Red Bull Racing, we will expand it with technical and product collaborations, explained Andy Palmer.
The new partnership between Red Bull Racing and Infiniti will increase the presence of Infiniti logos on the RB8 for 2012, now appearing along and above the cockpit. They will also be more visible on the drivers’ suits and on the clothing of the various members of the now double world champion team.
A technical collaboration between the two structures will also be established, and this could lead to the creation of specific models branded as Red Bull, for example.
