Sunday: An anonymous race from Williams
The races follow one another and are similar for the Williams team. Neither of the two drivers managed to score points this Sunday, and Pastor Maldonado had to retire due to an engine problem.

Rubens Barrichello – 12th
Our performance was good today and I was able to battle with slightly faster cars. Once again, the safety car was not an ally for me and I lost a position when it came out. Other than that, the race was enjoyable with some nice overtakes. It’s just a shame that we didn’t score any points.
Pastor Maldonado – retirement
I had a good start and my pace was good. Unfortunately, I made a mistake entering the pits and had to serve a penalty. My race ended when the team detected an engine problem on my car. Not a great weekend, but we remain focused on the next race in India.

Initially, we had opted for a three-stop strategy with Pastor on hard tires and Rubens on softs. Both our drivers had a good start. Rubens fought throughout the race to secure 12th place after switching to a two-stop strategy following the safety car. Pastor also fought well despite a penalty… but his race ended due to engine problems.
