Friday: Virgin drivers confident for the future
Interesting day for the Virgin team in India. Timo Glock really appreciates the brand new Buddh International Circuit and is looking forward to driving again tomorrow; his day went well, and he was able to accomplish what was planned. That wasn't the case for Jérôme d'Ambrosio, who had his second session cut short after going off track, but the Belgian driver believes he can make up for the lost time tomorrow during the final practice session.

Timo Glock – 23rd and 20th
«It was a good first day in India. The track is really incredible and very enjoyable to drive. It was a great day without any problems. The car feels good, the balance is not too bad, and we were able to complete the planned program and work on the settings. Now, we need to analyze the data and see what we can do for tomorrow. I look forward to getting back in the car and driving on this track again! »
Jérome d’Ambrosio – 22nd and 22nd
The session this afternoon ended quite early for me because I made a mistake coming out of turn 11 and hit the wall, damaging the rear wing and the right rear as well. But aside from that, I think we’re on the right track. We lost some track time, but we still have the third free practice session to catch up, so that will be our goal.
