New engines for Force India drivers
Vijay Mallya, the boss of the Sahara Force India team, revealed today that his two drivers would have a new engine this weekend for the Indian Grand Prix - the team's home race. Sutil and di Resta aim to achieve a good result, and fitting a new engine in their cars could help them reach that goal.

The Sahara Force India team is the only Indian team in the Formula One Circus, and this weekend, for the first Indian Grand Prix in the history of Formula 1, the team hopes to shine and plans to maximize its chances to achieve that.
The team’s two official drivers will have a new engine starting tomorrow for the qualifying session and for Sunday’s race. This should provide them with a slight performance gain compared to an already used engine. The goal is to secure a top 10 on the grid on Saturday and in the race on Sunday to properly celebrate this first home race for the team since its inception in 2008.
«Sahara Force India is committed to doing its best in front of its home audience, so we have kept two new engines for the race, » stated Vijay Mallya at a press conference in India.
Paul di Resta and Adrian Sutil ideally started this weekend today by showing competitiveness during the first two free practice sessions – Sutil set the 7th fastest time and di Resta the 9th during the second free practice.
