Vergne will test the Red Bull in Abu Dhabi
Jean-Eric Vergne, vice-champion of Formula Renault 3.5 this season, will have the opportunity to test the Red Bull RB7 during the young drivers' test in Abu Dhabi, as revealed by the British team. The Frenchman will drive the world champion single-seater during the three days of testing.

Jean-Eric Vergne, who is part of Red Bull’s young driver program, is the test and reserve driver for the Toro Rosso team, which allowed him to drive the STR6 in South Korea during the free practice sessions. He will also repeat the experience in Abu Dhabi and Brazil.
But the opportunity to test the RB7, world champion this season with Vettel and Webber, is a completely different experience because it’s the best car on the grid. Like Daniel Ricciardo last year, JEV will particularly have the chance to show and prove to the entire paddock that he is ready to be in Formula 1 from next season.
“I can’t wait to drive the RB7 in Abu Dhabi. I already know the circuit and have been able to drive a Formula 1 car this year, which should help me. I am really very happy that Red Bull has offered me this opportunity; it will be an incredible experience for me, and driving the best Formula 1 car is truly something extraordinary. I will try to make the most of these three days, which will be important, and I look forward to them,” Vergne said.
