Coletti with Toro Rosso in Abu Dhabi
Stefano Coletti will have the opportunity to test a Formula 1 car for the first time in November during the Rookies Tests. The Monégasque driver has signed an agreement with Toro Rosso to drive the STR6 in Abu Dhabi during these young driver tests.

Stefano Coletti has been racing in single-seaters since 2005, having participated in the Formula BMW, Formula Renault, Formula 3, GP3, and GP2 championships this season with Trident. He did not finish the season following an accident at Spa-Francorchamps.
He had been hit by Aleshin and following this accident, he was diagnosed with a broken vertebra, which prevented him from participating in the last round at Monza as well as the first GP2 tests in Jerez. The Monegasque driver returned to the wheel of a single-seater in Barcelona in October during GP2 testing with the DAMS and Coloni teams.
Now that he has recovered from his injuries, he will have the opportunity to drive a Formula 1 car for the first time in his career during the young driver tests taking place from November 15 to 17 at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi.
“I’m delighted to announce that I will be testing with Toro Rosso in Abu Dhabi. I’m on my way to their factory. I’ll be getting my seat fitted and meeting all the guys,” Stefano Coletti shared on his Twitter feed.
