The F1 enters the “Vettel era” according to Sébastien Bourdais
Former teammate of Sebastian Vettel at Toro Rosso, Sébastien Bourdais, believes that Formula 1 is entering a new era under the domination of the German double world champion.

Bourdais was teammates with Vettel in 2008 at Scuderia Toro Rosso, and it cannot be said that the French driver emerged advantaged from this experience.
Their confrontation even hastened the end of the Formula 1 dream for Bourdais, who was let go by his team the following year mid-season due to a lack of results.
However, the Frenchman admits to the German magazine Auto Bild that he was up against a formidable driver who understands the behavior of his single-seater perfectly: “His car control is exceptional, and he really stands out if the car or conditions are difficult. Sebastian does extraordinary things, even with a car that’s difficult to control. He manages to get around all the problems.”
Vettel’s team spirit is also highlighted by Bourdais: “We both had difficulties with our team [Toro Rosso] because the mechanics spoke little English. For me, it was worse because I had a family at home and couldn’t spend my limited free time learning Italian like Sebastian did. He invested more time and energy, so he could communicate better with the team.”
In conclusion, Vettel is not about to let go of his dominance according to the French driver: People complained about Michael Schumacher’s dominance back in the day. But I say the Vettel era might be worse!
