Wickens, Korjus, and Charouz have been chosen by Lotus-Renault GP
The Lotus-Renault GP team announced the arrival of Robert Wickens, Kevin Korjus, and Jan Charouz for the young driver tests at the end of the season in Abu Dhabi.

The three drivers will be offered a full day of test driving an R31, allowing the Enstone-based team to assess these three young talents.
Eric Boullier, director of Lotus-Renault GP, welcomes this decision and explains these choices. The test days for young drivers in Abu Dhabi are an excellent opportunity for us to gauge the potential of future stars in this sport. With a plethora of young talents there, we hope to identify the future contenders for a Formula 1 seat in the future. We look forward to seeing how they will perform.
The Canadian Robert Wickens, recent winner of the Formula Renault 3.5 championship ahead of Jean-Eric Vergne, and who will also be present on the Friday of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at the wheel of a Virgin, is very happy to participate in these tests. «Obviously, I was confident after winning the Formula Renault 3.5 championship, which was a great personal achievement, and it proves that I am capable of doing something great. I feel ready for Formula 1 and I think driving the LRGP in Abu Dhabi will be a kind of real test. All year, my goal in the World Series was to win the championship, so I hope I can make the most of this opportunity and be competitive.»
Korjus will have his first Formula 1 experience after becoming the youngest driver to win a race in Formula Renault 3.5, while Charouz is already one of the reserve drivers for LRGP.
