Derek Warwick joins the FIA in Abu Dhabi
The British Dereck Warwick will be the driver steward responsible for assisting the FIA for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Often at the center of turmoil, the stewards tasked with assisting the FIA in making decisions during a race incident are increasingly in the spotlight.
On the Yas Marina circuit, we will find former driver Derek Warwick, who has already served in this role three times before, during the Grand Prix events in Spain and Hungary in 2010 and in Turkey this season.
It should also be noted that the Briton has succeeded Damon Hill this year as the president of the British Racing Drivers’ Club, owner of the Silverstone circuit.
