HRT aims to be ready by Jerez in 2012
The HRT team has never managed in two years of existence to have its new single-seater running during pre-season testing. However, the Spanish team hopes that this will change this year.

For its first year of existence, HRT ran the Hispania F110 for the first time during the free practice at the Bahrain Grand Prix. This season, the F111 made its debut at the Australian Grand Prix. However, the Spanish team had run the F110 during winter testing to gather data on the Pirelli tires.
For 2012, Saul Ruiz de Marcos, one of the HRT team officials, hopes that the Hispania F112 will be ready in time to run in the first pre-season tests, scheduled in Jerez from February 7 to 10 – for reference, here is the test schedule for the 2012 season.
Unlike last year, we hope not only to have the new car for the first race but also for the first pre-season testing session, Saul Ruiz de Marcos stated at the FIA press conference on Friday in Abu Dhabi.
Saul Ruiz de Marco also revealed that the majority of the Spanish team – racing team, test team, and administrative services – will be consolidated in new premises located in Valencia, Spain. The technical office, meanwhile, will remain in Munich, Germany.
