The 2012 Ferrari presented at the beginning of February
Scuderia Ferrari will unveil its next single-seater in early February 2012, just before the first tests in which the car is expected to participate.
The first winter tests will take place in Jerez, Spain, from February 7 to 9, 2012, and Ferrari is expected to run its new car during these tests. The red team’s car should be unveiled in early February 2012 and soon after make its first laps in Jerez, at least that is the goal of the men from Maranello.
The new Ferrari F1 single-seater will be unveiled at the beginning of February, in time to take part in the first test session of the season, Luca Colajanni, the Ferrari media manager, told Autosprint.
This new single-seater, which has not yet been named, will have a clear objective: to win races in hopes of claiming the title. Ferrari has not hidden its ambition for several months, and this new single-seater is expected to mark a break from its predecessors to put Ferrari back on the road to success.
«For the moment, it is not important to say if the new project will be extreme. It is certain that it will be a clear break with the past, a very different program, because the objective is to win and this marks a change in mentality for the whole team,» added Colajanni.
