Van der Garde is doing everything to be in F1 in 2012
Giedo Van der Garde is still working with his management team to be present in F1 in 2012.

Giedo Van der Garde hopes to emulate his teammate at Addax in GP2 in 2011, Charles Pic, by moving from GP2 to F1 this season. The Dutch driver hopes to secure one of the two seats still available – at Williams or HRT.
Van der Garde has significant financial backing thanks to the ready-to-wear company McGregor, where his manager Jean Paul ten Hoopen works as a commercial director. The Dutch driver also benefits from the support of his father-in-law, Marcel Boekhoorn, whose fortune is estimated at over a billion dollars.
The 26-year-old Dutchman and his entourage have been keeping a low profile for several weeks, but as his manager revealed, the entire management team is working behind the scenes to enable their protégé to reach Formula 1 in 2012.
«We are quite calm (at the moment) but we are working very hard. We will inform you when there is news, » revealed Jean Paul ten Hoopen to the site f1today.nl.
