Ferrari and Santander together until 2017
Arrival alongside Scuderia Ferrari in 2010, Santander has just extended its partnership with the Italian team until 2017.
Following Fernando Alonso’s arrival in the Maranello team, the Spanish bank Santander began its collaboration with Ferrari in 2010, after being the main sponsor of McLaren.
Furthermore, the Spanish driver’s contract was extended until 2016 last year.
Stefano Domenicali, director of Scuderia Ferrari since 2008, expressed his great pleasure at the expansion of this partnership: « Over the past two years, we have been able to see how much our companies share the same values: both a desire for excellence and a love of competition but also teamwork, the will to excel, and serving our customers to the best of our ability. »
He also wanted to add: « Having extended until 2017 with the team, Santander thus renews its long-term confidence in us and it is something of which we can be particularly proud. »
