Marussia will use Sage’s services
After two first seasons finishing in last place in the constructors' championship, Marussia aims to establish itself in the long term with more integrated internal processes. This will involve using an ERP service provided by a specialist in the field, Sage.

Kevin Lee, the operations director of the Anglo-Russian team, explained: “Before investing in Sage ERP X3, Marussia Virgin Racing, like many companies, used various computer systems and needed an ERP solution that would allow us to view the entire product lifecycle and the thousands of spare parts we need to manage. By offering a comprehensive end-to-end management system that can be seamlessly scaled in silos by department or geography, Sage ERP X3 will allow us to automate our complex processes and significantly increase our operational efficiency.”
This is all the more important for a team that initially planned to use only computer simulation to ensure the development of their car. Faced with the lack of results and competitiveness compared to its closest rivals, the Banbury team then decided to also use the services of the McLaren wind tunnel. This decision consequently increased the geographical spread of the company’s various employees, making it all the more necessary to have a technical solution to centralize all the data in one place.
