Friday: Force India in the Unknown
Uncertainty looms over Force India, but the drivers are quite satisfied with their performances in changing track conditions.
Nico Hülkenberg: 12th and 2nd
« The free practice sessions took place in mixed conditions, especially FP2 with significant rain that arrived just before the start of the session. But we did our best and I ran on wet tires, then intermediates, and softs when the track dried. It’s hard to read the times because no one used the softs and there were a lot of changes in fuel load, but the main thing for me is that I have a good feeling with the car. »
Paul di Resta: 13th and 6th
« It’s difficult to say much about the first or second session because the conditions were changing due to the showers. Despite that, we did our best and focused on checking the aerodynamic package we have here and learning a few things. We also made some setup changes between the two sessions, and the car seemed better in the afternoon, so that was positive. What’s difficult is that we don’t really know where everyone stands in terms of performance, so there are still a lot of unknowns before tomorrow. »
