Friday: Work in prospect for Caterham
After a tricky morning session, the Caterham drivers encountered better conditions this afternoon and will work this evening to be at their best tomorrow.

Vitaly Petrov – 19th and 19th
We worked normally for a Friday, and for me, it was a very good day. The level of grip this morning wasn’t good, but I think it was the same for most teams. However, this afternoon it improved, even if the track itself lost grip compared to the morning. There are two areas to focus on tonight, especially in maximizing traction, but I am reasonably happy with where we are.
Heikki Kovalainen – 17th and 21st
« Today’s session proved what we suspected, namely that managing tire degradation will be crucial on Sunday. This morning, we tried a few setup options that didn’t work very well, but we made some changes after the break and, immediately, the car responded better. I had more grip and was able to manage the tires well during the second stint we did, so I think we managed to improve in the areas we wanted, and we have a foundation to work from tonight. »
