Saturday: Red Bull and Vettel regain pole position
After several disappointing races, the Red Bull team is back to performing. Sebastian Vettel secures his first pole of the season, driving a car equipped with the latest upgrades, while Mark Webber takes third position.

Sebastian Vettel – 2nd and 1st
« It’s great and I owe it completely to the team. We didn’t have an easy start to the season, and there was a lot of speculation, but I think more than anything, we expected better and we didn’t find it. We worked extremely hard on the car and found the right way forward. The guys haven’t slept much during the last races: it was a tough race in China and now here, so it’s good to put the car on pole for them. The car seems better, it wasn’t the easiest qualifying session, I almost got knocked out in Q1, but it’s good to be on pole. »
Mark Webber – 3rd and 3rd
The car performed much better here. The first part of qualifying was not easy, and we both had to go out again in Q1. It was a fairly decent session for me and my best qualifying performance on this circuit. Seb did a good lap for pole, and we are pleased to be both in front. The team has worked very hard and has been very involved. We haven’t been very good on Saturdays so far, but we have been on Sundays. We can have a good race from here tomorrow. Tire strategy will be very, very important: many drivers, including us, used a lot of tires in qualifying.
