McLaren joins Hilton’s loyalty program
After seven years of partnership, McLaren and Hilton have decided to take a new step. Thus, the F1 team will be added to the Hilton HHonors loyalty program of the American hotel chain.
Until now, Hilton was just one of many sponsors of the English team. Nevertheless, the hotel chain wants to take further advantage of its relationship with McLaren by making it a commercial argument for its best clients.
This is how Jeff Diskin, the global vice president of customer marketing, explains this new partnership: «For seven years, Hilton has been proud to sponsor Vodafone McLaren Mercedes. This year, we are delighted to continue and expand this relationship through our Hilton HHonors program to provide exclusive offers to some of our most loyal members and motorsport fans.»
This translates into promotional offers dedicated to Hilton customers, like the one that will allow them to win an all-expenses-paid trip to the next British Grand Prix at Silverstone. Other special operations have already been set up, such as the filming of a viral video in front of the London establishment or the attendance of two Hilton customers at the launch of the MP4-27 at the beginning of the season.
