Friday: Force India is on the right track
If we have to look for the best overall result from this Friday's practice sessions in Montreal, it is indeed Force India that stands out, placing its drivers in the top 10 on 3 out of 4 possible occasions. And even though times are secondary in free practice, satisfaction is evident within the Indian team.

Paul di Resta – 11th and 5th
The weather has been a source of concern today with the persistent threat of rain, so we had a very busy morning where we probably completed more laps than we normally do. Basically, the car was good and we worked on improving things with each outing. At the end of the day, I was very happy with the car’s feeling in terms of balance. Of course, we expect conditions to change for tomorrow and we need to see how that will impact us, but based on today’s performance, I think we can aim for Q3 if everything comes together.
Nico Hülkenberg – 6th and 8th
« I enjoyed both sessions and ended the day with very positive impressions. The balance is where we want it to be, and the changes we made between the two sessions seemed to lead us in the right direction. There is still a lot of work to do tonight, and there is room for further improvement, but it’s a good start to the weekend. »
