Sunday: Räikkönen and Grosjean step onto the podium for Lotus
Great grouped finish for the two Lotus drivers who take the second and third steps of the podium. While victory was within reach for both drivers, this overall result allows Eric Boullier's team to consolidate its third place in the constructors' championship.

Kimi Räikkönen – 2nd
It’s a shame we couldn’t get the victory, but it’s a good result for the team and we’re going to keep pushing to clear this final hurdle. My start wasn’t too bad, but we had some issues with the KERS and I lost a place to Fernando [Alonso]. Then it worked again but we were stuck in traffic, so it was a bit frustrating, but once we got rid of that, we were able to attack… and it seemed like we could do that until the second stop. The team told me I would be very close to Romain [Grosjean], and our duel was fair. We managed to catch up to Lewis [Hamilton], but it was impossible to get past him.
Romain Grosjean – 3rd:
«It’s a good result for the team, but to be honest, I am a bit disappointed. We had a good battle for the lead with Lewis [Hamilton] throughout the first two stints, but then I got stuck behind Michael [Schumacher] who was not respecting the blue flags, which cost me a lot of time. Because of that, I lost a place to Kimi, and at the same time a possible chance to fight for the win. It’s very difficult to overtake here. Every time I got close to someone, I lost a bit of front grip, which made it impossible. That’s racing, but we still bring home a lot of points for the Constructors’ Championship, which is really positive.»
