Sunday: HRT is satisfied with its result
Even though the HRTs remain stuck in the hierarchy behind the Marussias, the Spanish team is satisfied with its pace and with conceding only one lap to the rest of the field, despite a difficult first stint for Pedro de la Rosa and an extended stop for Narain Karthikeyan.

Pedro de la Rosa – 18th:
« I am more than satisfied with this result, especially keeping in mind how we started the race. The start was not easy, but I did what I could because the Medium tires did not work properly. In the second half of the race, on Hard tires, I started to run well, and I am happy with our stop because it was very good. I am happy with this 100th Grand Prix although I would have liked to do better. We must continue to improve, and in Singapore, we hope that the updates we have planned will help us take that step forward. »
Narain Karthikeyan – 19th:
I got off to a great start and overtook the two Marussias, but at the first corner, I had slight contact that, in addition to making me lose places, damaged my front wing. The car was oversteering, and we spent most of our pit stop changing the front wing, which cost us a substantial amount of time. Then the blue flags started coming out, and I also had to change my driving style to avoid too much overheating and reach the finish. However, I am happy because the car is performing well, and if we continue to work hard, we will surely achieve a good result. Now, the Asian tour begins, and I am very excited about racing not far from home, in Singapore.
