Rosberg would like Schumacher to stay in 2013
As the transfer market is in turmoil, Nico Rosberg admits he would like to keep Michael Schumacher by his side at Mercedes for the upcoming season. But everything seems to depend on the decision Lewis Hamilton will make in the coming weeks...

The “silly season” is in full swing, and numerous speculations regarding several drivers are coming to light. Among these is a rumor placing Lewis Hamilton at Mercedes in Michael Schumacher’s seat, which is becoming increasingly persistent.
The seven-time German champion might decide to hang up his gloves after a rather disappointing return to competition. Only one podium finish this year in Valencia and a clear domination by his teammate Rosberg over the past three seasons might well lead Schumacher to make his decision.
However, Nico Rosberg would like his current teammate to continue the adventure next year: « I am definitely tied with Mercedes. And I am looking forward to winning more races with them next season. It would be a good thing if Michael stayed too. We get along well, the competition is healthy between us. He is still at a very, very high level and it’s a real challenge to race against him. »
According to Rosberg, the transfer market will be clearer once the three big names have made their decisions: Not much will happen until Schumacher, Hamilton, and Massa are able to say where they will be next year.
The game of musical chairs will indeed take place between Mercedes, McLaren, and Ferrari.
