Interroll partners with Sauber
Logistics is an essential aspect of managing an F1 team. That's why Sauber decided to partner with a specialist in the field, Interroll.
The Sauber team has decided to partner with Interroll, one of the global leaders in internal logistics, the movement of goods within companies. While this form of logistics is not the most spectacular, Monisha Kaltenborn, the CEO of the Swiss team, comments on the activity of her new partner: “Until recently, I had never heard of Interroll, but I have now realized that I have been in contact with Interroll products almost every week. When we travel for our races, we very often pass through check-in counters and security points equipped with Interroll conveyors in airports all over the world.”
This is how the brand equips nearly 80% of airport security scanners. Closer to the average consumer, 60% of supermarket checkouts are also supplied by the Swiss brand. Its products are thus used by large companies, such as Amazon, Bosch, Coca-Cola, DHL, Procter & Gamble, Red Bull, Siemens, Walmart, and Yamaha motorcycles.
Nevertheless, Interroll has decided not to invest in Formula 1 by simply displaying its logo on the cars of Kamui Kobayashi and Sergio Perez. Instead, the manufacturer will use the sport as a platform to showcase the benefits of its products for an activity where its products are crucial for a company’s operations. Paul Zumbühl, the CEO of the Swiss group, stated: « Sauber F1 Team is one of the most traditional and successful teams among the private teams present in the Formula 1 arena. Our partnership perfectly aligns with the ambition and corporate culture we share. At Interroll, we call it the Climate of Excellence, which aims for the highest quality, reliability, and speed. Speed is essential because the fast will eat the slow, not the big the small. »
