South Korea: Check the TV Schedule!

Sebastian Vettel is back in business: after two consecutive victories, the reigning double world champion is hot on the heels of the championship leader, Fernando Alonso. The Spaniard’s lead melted away like snow in the sun after a new retirement before even reaching the first corner at the Suzuka circuit. Will the Asian tour sound the death knell for the Asturian’s hopes of a third title? The answer comes tomorrow.

In South Korea, the race will take place during the day on the recent Yeongam circuit, thus exposing European viewers to a morning or even night time difference for the most passionate fans. The schedule will be the same as the Japanese Grand Prix.

Consequently, TF1 will broadcast the race in full starting at 07:55. The F1 à la Une team will present the 2012 South Korean Grand Prix a few minutes earlier with a lighter magazine, live from Paris.

Eurosport, a paid channel available on cable, the web, and as an option on ISPs’ TV packages, will broadcast the practice sessions and qualifiers live or delayed for latecomers. TF1, on the other hand, will offer a condensed replay of the qualifiers with the most important moments from Saturday night to Sunday. You’ll have to stay up late (1:45 AM).

Caution, do not plan to watch the Grand Prix on Sunday from the TF1 app on iPad or iPhone – it will not be broadcast. The rights are exclusively reserved for television.

Also note that the Motors Inside editorial team will, as usual, offer you a live commentary of the qualifying sessions on Saturday starting at 06:50 to follow the evolution of the hierarchy live and in complete friendliness. Additionally, you will be able to ask your questions directly to the editorial team.

If you don’t have a television, you can also follow the Grand Prix through the radio. The frequencies naturally depend on your geographical area. Several radio stations will broadcast the Grand Prix live. The times are therefore identical to those presented in the Live.

RMC will broadcast the race and the qualifying sessions, with the program Intégrale F1, commented by Jean-Luc Roy assisted by Patrick Tambay and Antoine Arlot. Europe 1 will also offer the broadcast of the GP.

Please note that the FOM has implemented paid mobile applications to follow the live position of drivers on the track and have the latest weekend results live.
