Ferrari and Lotus will present their single-seaters before the Jerez tests
While Ferrari is expected to unveil its new single-seater in early February, on the eve of the first winter tests scheduled in Jerez, Romain Grosjean mentioned on France 2 a presentation at the end of January for the upcoming Lotus.

The more the days pass, the clearer the 2013 teams’ presentation schedule becomes. Thus, after McLaren, Sauber, and Force India, who will unveil their respective cars before the first winter tests scheduled in Jerez, it’s Ferrari’s turn to announce that its latest model will be revealed at an event organized in Maranello at the beginning of February.
If the Scuderia has not given a specific date, it seems more than likely that Project 664 – the code name used by Ferrari to refer to its 2013 car – will be unveiled to the tifosi during the weekend preceding the Jerez tests, between February 1st and 3rd. Indeed, once unveiled, the new vehicle of Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa will have to be shipped to Spain where the first winter tests will begin on February 5th.
Ferrari also announced the start of construction for new facilities for its Formula 1 team, located between the current factory and the famous Ristorante Cavallino.
As for Lotus, although no date has been officially announced, Romain Grosjean revealed on the show Stade 2, on France 2, that his next ride would be unveiled at the end of January.
