Barcelona Test 2 Live – Day 4

The Formula One Circus is back in Barcelona, Spain, like last week, for the continuation and end of the winter testing for the season. All the teams will be running their cars, but also, and for the first time this year, with their lineup for the upcoming season since Adrian Sutil has been confirmed by Force India on Thursday, and then it was Jules Bianchi’s turn, the unfortunate candidate for the Indian team’s seat, to be hired as the second driver for the Marussia team, replacing the very short-lived Luiz Razia, who showed great sportsmanship when commenting on his eviction.

Motors Inside is present in the paddock of the Circuit de Catalunya for these tests but, as in Jerez and last week in Barcelona, we also offer you a text live to let you experience this fourth and final day of testing. Feel free to participate in this live by asking your questions throughout the day.

On today’s schedule, Sebastian Vettel (Red Bull), Fernando Alonso (Ferrari), Jenson Button (McLaren), Nico Rosberg (Mercedes), Nico Hülkenberg (Sauber), Paul di Resta (Force India), Pastor Maldonado / Valtteri Bottas (Williams), Daniel Ricciardo (Toro Rosso), Charles Pic (Caterham) and Jules Bianchi / Max Chilton (Marussia). As for Lotus, Kimi Räikkönen’s physical condition will be evaluated before allowing him to participate in this final day of testing after his food poisoning. If he is not fit, Romain Grosjean will complete the testing for the Enstone team.

As a reminder, the first two days were mostly held on a wet track, which did not allow for a clear hierarchy to be established. Nevertheless, on the first day, it was Mark Webber who finished on top driving his Red Bull, before Romain Grosjean concluded his testing with the best time on Friday, armed with his Lotus. The third day, on the other hand, was run on a completely dry track, allowing Lewis Hamilton to make his mark by setting the absolute fastest time of the tests in Catalonia so far.
