Friday: Räikkönen satisfied, Grosjean less so at Lotus
Lotus continues its momentum in Australia. Kimi Räikkönen had a good first day, setting the second-fastest time in the morning session and then the fastest time in the afternoon. Romain Grosjean, on the other hand, seems to be still having some difficulties at the wheel of his Lotus, although the situation has slightly improved and there is still room for improvement before tomorrow's qualifying session.

Kimi Räikkönen – 2nd and 1st:
« It was a good day. We made small changes to the car and made progress. We drove in the rain, which is common here, and the car behaves well. We drove with a lot of fuel today, so I don’t know how we’ll be when everyone is running on empty for qualifying, but I’m happy with our position and expect us to do well tomorrow. »
Romain Grosjean – 10th and 6th:
« We are still working on the car’s setup because it’s not quite right on my side yet, and it’s difficult to understand exactly why. The new front wing works better than the previous one, so that helps. Kimi was using a new aerodynamic package that seems to be a step forward, so we know there is more pace to come from that side, but there are still things we can do with the current specification when everything works for me. It was very hot, which is a contrast to Melbourne, but I feel good and look forward to making progress tomorrow before tackling qualifying. »
