Friday: Williams progresses slowly
Williams is experiencing a difficult start to the season and does not expect the situation to change drastically this weekend in China. However, the FW34 seems to be performing better than in the first two rounds of the championship.

Pastor Maldonado – 13th and 18th:
« We will see tomorrow in qualifying what progress we have made. It is still too early to say. The car behaved better during free practice 1 but we had difficulties this afternoon, so we need to analyze the data to see how to move forward. »
Valtteri Bottas – 17th and 16th:
« We tried a lot of things during free practice 1, and we had positive results. In the second session, I had a problem at the start, but the team did a great job trying to fix it to allow me to drive. I feel like we’ve made some progress since Malaysia, but we’ll see tomorrow where we stand compared to the other teams. We have to work hard to maximize what we have. »
