Friday: Force India likes the heat and aims for Q3 in Bahrain
Force India is delighted with its free practice sessions at the Bahrain circuit where Paul di Resta excelled both in the morning and in the afternoon. Paul di Resta and Adrian Sutil seem particularly satisfied with the behavior of the VJM06 on both hard and medium tires.

Paul di Resta – 5th and 5th:
It was a positive Friday and we accomplished as much work as we could have realistically hoped for. The car is performing well, responding as expected, and we already have a pretty good idea of where we stand. There are still some improvements to be made, as always, but if we can take another step forward, we should be in a very good position heading into the qualifiers.
Adrian Sutil – 8th and 9th:
« A lot of laps and a lot of things to evaluate today, but I’m still not completely comfortable with the car, whether on short or long stints. It seems there’s very little grip at the moment, so the setups aren’t quite good enough for me yet. As for the tires, there’s no real concern. My long stints seemed competitive and both the medium and hard tires seem to work very well for us in high temperatures, just like in Malaysia. »
