Friday: Sakhir reveals the weaknesses of the Sauber according to Hülkenberg
In retreat in Bahrain, the Sauber drivers experienced a laborious day behind the wheel of a Sauber C32 that has not yet achieved sufficient balance and lacks stability and traction in slow corners.

Nico Hülkenberg – 15th and 17th:
« Today, we were able to complete our testing program as planned. Everything went quite smoothly. In terms of performance, there is still quite a bit of work for us to do. I expected this circuit to reveal some weaknesses of the car, but I believe there is potential.
I am still not happy with the car’s balance, but I think we can find more performance tomorrow if we find the right balance. We have a long night ahead to try to maximize everything for this weekend.
Esteban Gutiérrez – 18th and 18th:
Compared to this morning, I think we managed to improve the car’s balance during the second practice session. The first session was a bit tricky in terms of the car’s balance. We tried a lot of different measures and settings, but everything fell into place this afternoon. However, we are still lacking speed in the slow corners due to a lack of stability and traction. We will look at the data and work on this point so that we can achieve a car with better room for improvement.
