Thursday: The Red Bull team is behind but not worried
Mark Webber often performs very well in Monaco. It is therefore not surprising to see him ahead of his teammate at the end of the day's two sessions. Sebastian Vettel was slowed down by a KERS problem in the afternoon. Overall, the RB9 is not shining this Thursday, but there is no reason to alarm the Red Bull team.

Mark Webber – 7th and 5th
« I think traditionally we are never really on the mark here on Thursdays, so this day is one of the best we’ve had in the past five years. You have to be very focused here. It’s a real challenge to put everything together. We obviously want performance on short stints but also on longer ones. There are some fast cars here, we saw that in previous Grand Prix. Overall, it was a good day for us. We have a lot of work now. »
Sebastian Vettel – 10th and 9th
«I think overall it was good. Unfortunately, we lost a bit of time in the afternoon making some changes, but these are things that happen on Friday or, in this case, Thursday. We would like to be a bit more competitive, so we need to try to find more pace. We had a KERS issue this afternoon, so I didn’t use it during free practice 2. The guys know what the problem was. »
