The F1 paddock sets up shop on the legendary Silverstone track, the venue for the 8th Grand Prix of the 2013 season. Even though the English weather often plays the surprise guest, the weather should be mild this afternoon over the circuit.
In pole position, we find the two Mercedes, always quick in the qualifying lap exercise. Lewis Hamilton is ahead of his teammate Nico Rosberg on the front row of the grid. Behind the German cars, Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber are lurking. The Australian has won twice, and his last success in F1 was on this same circuit a year ago.
At the end of the top 10, Kimi Räikkönen and Fernando Alonso are in the role of the hunter and will have to showcase all their talent to hope to regain some points from Vettel with the championship in mind.
Starting 5th, Daniel Ricciardo in the Toro Rosso will undoubtedly be a strong contender for the big points this afternoon.
