Jenson Button not yet 100% sure to be with McLaren in 2014
While Jenson Button's future was not in doubt, the McLaren driver stated that his contract for next year was still not signed.

There is a lot of talk about the future of Kimi Räikkönen and the potential replacement for Mark Webber at Red Bull for next year, but another prominent seat could become available for the next Formula 1 season. Jenson Button has indeed confirmed that he does not yet know for certain what his future holds.
« I think I have a contract for next year, but I don’t believe it’s signed at the moment. I really want to be here next season. You might think it’s strange after the season we’ve had, but I think in some way, this year has been good for us. We’ll be stronger next year, » explains the 2009 world champion.
And what if the contract with McLaren was never signed? Could Red Bull and Ferrari, where Massa’s future seems more than compromised, become possible options for him?
« I think that as far as Red Bull is concerned, it’s already decided, » says Button to the media, adding that « the Ferrari seat is a great opportunity for any driver in F1. Having the chance to drive for a team like Ferrari is very exciting; what they have achieved in the past, the passion, and the culture. Let’s hope the steering wheel goes to someone who deserves it. »
