Follow the 2013 United States Grand Prix qualifying live
Starting at 6:50 PM, join the Motorsinside.com editorial team to experience the 18th qualifying session of the 2013 Formula 1 season, on the COTA track in Texas.

This weekend, Formula 1 sets down in the land of Uncle Sam, in Austin. On a particularly slippery track, the drivers will have to showcase all their talents to achieve the best possible time.
Friday’s free practice saw Fernando Alonso as the fastest at the end of a first session shortened by fog. The subsequent events saw Sebastian Vettel reclaim his lead: first place. The German stands as the favorite ahead of this qualifying session, which you can follow live with the team from MotorsInside.
Behind the Red Bulls, Romain Grosjean’s Lotus and the Mercedes of Rosberg and Hamilton will need to be kept in check. Heikki Kovalainen’s performance, replacing Kimi Räikkönen, will also be important in the battle for the constructors’ championship, especially since the Ferraris didn’t seem to be having a great time at the end of free practice 3.
As in 2012, Motorsinside.com offers you interactive live text coverage of the qualifications throughout the 2013 season. We invite you to follow this session for the 2013 United States Grand Prix, starting at 6:50 PM.
Feel free to share your impressions and ask us questions throughout the session, although unfortunately we won’t be able to publish them all.
