The start of the season at Williams is idyllic, especially for Valtteri Bottas currently 6th in the driver world championship. The Finnish driver discusses with Autosport the possible improvements expected for the Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona.

Williams is having a satisfying start to the season with 36 points scored in the constructors’ championship, even doing better than the start of the 2005 season with Nick Heidfeld and Mark Webber who scored 18 points. Even though the team based in Grove still dreams of a podium this season. However, the winter tests suggested that Williams could compete with Mercedes.
Interviewed by Autosport, Valtteri Bottas believes that the next race weekend will be a turning point in the season for the English team. The Finnish driver is optimistic about the improvements that will be made to the car.
« The positive point is that most of the parts we brought for the Chinese GP are working and we were able to see an improvement, we hope to take an even bigger step in Barcelona. »
Bottas has scored points in all four races this season, but the Finnish driver believes that Williams can improve significantly.
The young driver isn’t kidding himself; he is fully aware that the other teams will be improving. « It is positive to be consistently in the points », concedes the one who finished in the top 8 during the first four races of the season, « but we always want more. We must keep attacking, keep solving problems, and persevere in improving. »
