Monaco: Sauber F1 Drivers’ Helmets Auctioned
Due to not being fully competitive this year in the F1 World Championship, the German driver Adrian Sutil and the Mexican Esteban Gutiérrez are standing out for their generosity, as they will indeed donate their Monaco Grand Prix helmets, designed by the artist Romero Britto, to a charity.

As part of the Monaco Grand Prix, both Sauber F1 drivers – Adrian Sutil and Esteban Gutiérrez – will wear special helmets designed by Brazilian pop artist Romero Britto. These helmets will then be donated to the Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation for cancer research to be auctioned off.
The German pilot’s helmet was already auctioned on May 7 during a ceremony held in London. As for the Mexican pilot, his helmet will be sold via a digital platform between May 26 and June 11.
We started this partnership with the Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation at the beginning of the year because we sincerely believe that this organization makes an important contribution to cancer research. We are proud to be able to offer a platform that can reach a wider audience. To me, the helmet design is very unusual and very attractive, and I hope that a maximum amount of money will be raised for the association, Monisha Kaltenborn stated in the release published by Sauber F1.
