Friday: Good day at Hockenheim for Scuderia Ferrari
Fernando Alonso and Kimi Räikkönen expressed satisfaction with their first day of testing at the German Grand Prix held at the Hockenheim circuit in Germany. The two Ferrari drivers successfully prepared well for the rest of the weekend.

Fernando Alonso (No. 14) – 3rd and 8th
The Spaniard had a good first day in Germany: « Today, we focused on the settings to try and adapt them to the temperatures, which should be very high throughout the weekend. I have no problem with either the soft or super-soft tires, and we just need to understand how they will perform in the race and what the weather will be like this Sunday. »
Deprived of FRIC suspensions, Alonso believes that it doesn’t change much and that he must, regardless, adapt and make do with the equipment at his disposal: « I don’t think removing FRIC [suspensions] changes much in terms of driving style, and to have a clear idea, a comparison with and without would be needed, but by driving without, we simply have to adapt and be as well-prepared as possible with what is at our disposal. »
Kimi Räikkönen (No. 7) – 8th and 4th
Usual Friday for the Finn who is satisfied with the progress made on his Ferrari during the three hours of practice at the Hockenheim circuit: « As every Friday, our program covered setup work during the first session, then a tire evaluation and a race simulation in the afternoon. Unfortunately, this morning, due to a technical problem, I had to return to my garage and was unable to do an additional stint on softs, but thanks to very good work by the team, I managed to get back on track quickly. This afternoon, we made up for lost time and managed to improve on all fronts. »
