Felipe Massa (no. 19) – 11th and 6th

Having had to adapt to the change in regulations regarding FRIC suspensions, the Brazilian is nonetheless satisfied with the progress made this Friday: “We had a good day today. We did a lot of work on the settings, especially after the suspension changes we had to make. I hope we can continue to make improvements throughout the weekend. We made a good step forward between the first and second sessions, which is good.”

Valtteri Bottas (No. 77) – 10th [FP2]

The Finn only drove one session and suffered from the heat: « The track was very hot today, which greatly affected the tires. It wasn’t easy with the super-softs on the long stints, and it’s a point we’ve highlighted that we need to work on more. »

Susie Wolff (No. 41) – 15th [FP1]

The Scottish driver took the wheel of the Williams during the first session of the day and she was delighted, being able to put into practice the things learned from her previous experiences: « The car felt really good today, so I was able to complete a number of laps. I was able to improve lap after lap and make good use of the new tires on the car. I was well prepared and the guys did an incredible job to ensure everyone was ready. I knew today would be our day, so when I had issues quite early, I stayed calm and brought the car back to the garage. I will continue my work in the simulator for the rest of the season, but I am looking forward to the next opportunity to get behind the wheel because I really want to do more. »
