The restructuring of the Caterham team continues. After Nathanaël Berthon joined the driver development program, it is now Kevin Giovesi's turn to be chosen.

Kevin Giovesi is a 20-year-old Italian driver. He is currently fourth in the Auto GP standings. It is his second year in the championship after winning the Formula Lista Junior championship in 2009 and the European F3 Open (the Spanish F3 championship) in 2012. He also made a brief appearance in GP2 at the beginning of 2013.

By joining the Caterham F1 driver development program, he takes his place alongside Nathanaël Berthon. The Frenchman and the Italian will be integrated into the F1 team’s operations at the Leafield technical center, in order to gain valuable experience working with the engineers.

As a reminder, Caterham was sold by Tony Fernandes at the beginning of July. The American driver, Alexander Rossi, was affected by this and is no longer part of their development program.

Caterham has future drivers with Robin Frijns who is currently the reserve driver for the team. Will Stevens is found as a driver in Formula Renault 3.5. Then we have drivers Matt Perry and Seb Morris who are Formula Renault 2.0 drivers.
