Sunday: Dark night for Sauber F1
The weekend for Sauber ended in the worst possible way with a double retirement. The disappointment is even greater for the Swiss team as Esteban Gutierrez was not far from the points this Sunday.

Adrian Sutil (No. 99) – Retirement (Water Pressure)
The driver no. 99 did not see the finish of the Singapore Grand Prix. In any case, he was behind his teammate fairly. « It is really frustrating to retire once again due to a technical problem. Today, we were in a good position to score points. It was a difficult race since we had engine problems from the start. However, we managed to resolve them and continue with the planned strategy. »
Although he was penalized for his collision with Sergio Perez, who lost his front wing in the maneuver, Adrian Sutil does not feel guilty: « Regarding the contact with Sergio, there is not much to say, except that he suddenly came to hit the back of my car. »
Esteban Gutiérrez (No. 21) – Retired (Electrical)
After his retirement due to an electrical issue, Carlos Slim’s protégé seemed particularly upset upon returning to his garage. The disappointment is still evident in his comments, in which he blames both the performance and the reliability of his Swiss car: « There isn’t much to say about the race. Right now, it’s almost impossible to get good results. We have to extract 120% from what we have but all our problems make things difficult. There’s nothing I can do to prevent these issues at the moment. »
