Sunday: Lotus F1 satisfied with double finish in Singapore
Romain Grosjean comes out somewhat disappointed from the Singapore Grand Prix, during which he believes points were attainable without a mistake that kept him behind Pastor Maldonado.

Pastor Maldonado (No.13) – 12th
Helped by a “free” pit stop under safety car regime, the Venezuelan is satisfied with his race: « We maximized everything today and had a consistent race pace. I am very happy with that after the issues we had earlier this weekend. I stopped one more time than the others during the safety car but it didn’t affect my position. It was a tough race, especially the last 10 laps where the tires required a lot of management, but I think we managed to have a great race today. »
Romain Grosjean (No. 8) – 13th
For the Franco-Swiss, the race was unfolding in a rather promising manner, but the position lost to his teammate at the restart was never regained: « It was hot. Things were going very well and up until the safety car, we were fighting for points. Unfortunately, I tried to attack too hard at the restart. I wanted to give it my all and with cold soft tires […] it was too much in that corner. From there, I couldn’t get back and climb through the field to score points. »
