The fifteenth qualifying session of the 2014 Formula 1 season will take place on the brand new Sochi track, as part of the first Russian Grand Prix. The Olympic village track has already won over the drivers who appreciate its sequences and speed.
The Mercedes dominated the three free practice sessions quite calmly, and Lewis Hamilton seemed in great form, especially during FP3 where he created a gap of three-tenths with Nico Rosberg and nearly a second on Valtteri Bottas.
