Hamilton aims for a 5th consecutive victory in Austin
Lewis Hamilton will attempt to secure a fifth consecutive victory this weekend in Austin at the United States Grand Prix. His Mercedes teammate, Nico Rosberg, will try to compete with the Briton.

Lewis Hamilton has won the last four races held in Italy, Singapore, Japan, and Russia. The Mercedes driver leads the drivers’ championship, ahead of Nico Rosberg and Daniel Ricciardo, the only ones able to challenge him for the title.
The Brit hopes to continue his good streak at the next race, this weekend in the United States, on a track where he has already won two years ago: « We still have three races left to decide the drivers’ championship – starting with Austin, which is one of the best weekends of the year. Many of my American family will come for the race, plus I won the first Formula 1 Grand Prix on this circuit in 2012, so it’s a special race for me. »
Lewis Hamilton’s goal is clear for the United States Grand Prix, to win and thus increase his lead in the drivers’ championship: I love coming here and I can’t wait to have another good race – hopefully I’ll finish with a new Stetson on the top step of the podium!
Nico Rosberg, for his part, is determined to fight against his teammate until the end of the season: Everything is still to play for in the battle for the drivers’ championship, and I will not give up until the checkered flag drops in Abu Dhabi.
The German hopes to compete with his teammate this weekend at the Circuit of the Americas, even though he hasn’t always performed well on the Texan track – 13th in 2012 and 9th in 2013: « The first leg arrives in Austin, which is a really cool city and a beautiful circuit. I haven’t had my best races here so far, but I’m determined to change that this year. »
